Private Cooking Class in Your Home or at Japanese Cooking Studio
You and your friends will learn to cook delicious and healthy Japanese cuisine, and if desired, can enjoy a sake tasting. Everything taught in a class is hands-on and you are going to have the most exotic and exciting food experience ever. You will learn how to select fish and will be introduced to the secret techniques of chefs.

Learn to make Sushi
In this class you will learn how to make everything from a Spicy Tuna Roll, Inside-out roll (California roll), Hand roll, Nigiri, Pressed sushi, Rose shaped sushi, Heart shaped sushi, and so much more. Special requests are always welcome.
Learn to make Ramen
In this class you will learn how to master the art of Ramen. You will learn how to make handmade ramen noodle, pork broth, pork chashu, marinated eggs and assemble all together. And you slurp your ramen noodle.
Learn to make Tempura
In this class you will learn how to master the art of Tempura. You will learn how to create some favorite and popular dishes, such as Shrimp, Kabocha (Japanese squash), Renkon (lotus root), Scallops and chicken Tempura. In addition you learn how to make your own dipping sauce.
Learn to make Tofu
This class is very popular with vegetarians. Items covered in this class include (but are not limited too): Soy milk smoothie, Okara (soy pulp), Kumiage-yuba (soy milk sheet), Dengaku (broiled tofu) served with goma-miso and yuzu-miso dressing, Shira-ae (fresh seasonal vegetable with creamy tofu dressing), Okara cookies.
Learn to make Noodle
Japanese people love noodles. They eat them for lunch, dinner, snacks, and after drinks. Udon, wasoba, ramen, and somen are only a few of the many types of noodles found in Japanese kitchens. In this class, you will make handmade noodles that are cooked with traditional and western styles and flavors.
Learn to make East Meets West
East Meets West:
Chef Mamie was trained a top class restaurant in NYC. Mamie can create a special menu for you to satisfy all your guests. Sample menu: Local fresh tomato served with pickled red onion and basil oil, Grilled spicy shrimp, Roasted fingerling potato, local vegetables, edamame with garlic oil, Basil crusted swordfish served with local roasted plum tomato, Chocolate lava cake with Raspberry sauce.
